How do I win Pyramid 13?
The nature of the scoring system used in Pyramid 13 is based on the number of pyramids that are cleared (and the cards removed in doing so). Eventually, you will encounter a pyramid that can't be cleared (or which you fail to clear) which will end the game. There's no way to avoid this entirely, all you can do is try to clear as many as possible to get a good score.
How do keep my custom background from getting cut off?
Pyramid 13 will stretch the background image you specify so that it fills the screen. If the image is too wide (or too tall) to fit in its entirety, then it will crop off the sides needed so that there are no empty areas left at the edges of the screen (this is called "cropping to fill" as opposed to "cropping to fit"). There's no way to override this, but you can make sure you provide an image that is in the proper aspect ratio (on an iPhone or iPod touch, this is a 2:3 ratio of width to height -- on the iPad, it depends on the device orientation and is either 3:4 or 4:3). This can be done by cropping your photo manually and then loading it onto your device from your computer.
